In the district level quiz competition organized by the Department of Languages, Punjab, District Shri Muktsar Sahib last day, under the able guidance of Dr. Surendra Singh Thakur, Principal of Guru Nanak College, Kilianwali, B.A. Participated by 2 students of Head of the department Dr. Khushnaseeb Gurbakshish Kaur informed that out of the colleges under Muktsar district, 8 colleges had participated in this competition and 20 students from them became participants in this competition. As a result of which the college’s B.A. Jagjit Singh, a student of the first, secured the second position in this district level competition with 254 marks out of 400 and also won a cash prize of ₹ 750. College Principal Dr. Thakur while congratulating the winning student and encouraging the students said that in such literary and creative competitions, the students must take part in the latest times so that their all-round development can be done.
